I've been painting for as long as I can remember. I started with oils in third grade and spent the next decade training under the same teacher in Houston, Texas, building a strong foundation in color, form, and composition. My path took me to France and New York to study art and architecture, experiences that deepened my love for light, structure, and the natural world's inherent beauty.

In college, I chose to challenge myself in a completely different direction, earning a degree in mathematical economic analysis from Rice University. My career went one way, but painting never left my heart. Now, I'm returning to my first passion with full commitment, building a life around art instead of fitting it into the margins.

My work celebrates nature at its most breathtaking: blazing autumn aspens, dramatic mountain sunsets, wildflower meadows in their most radiant moments. Blending impressionist and expressionist influences through bold texture, dynamic brushwork, and luminous color, I capture not just what these landscapes look like, but how they feel. Each painting is an invitation to pause and experience the wonder that nature offers when we truly see it.
